Joint Commission International (JCI) Accredited

MPTRC is the world’s first proton therapy organization to be accredited by JCI, a globally recognized accreditation organization that evaluates patient safety and the quality of health care organizations.
The Joint Commission (JC) has accredited over 21,000 healthcare organizations in the United States, and JCI, the international branch of JC, has accredited 1013 organizations in 69 countries, 24 of which are in Japan (as of November 6, 2017).
Through the accreditation process, the quality of our medical services has improved significantly thanks to the leadership and innovative solutions provided to us by JCI. We will continue to enhance the quality of our cancer treatment in order to improve patient safety.
